Jamie Oil's All-American Girl

Meet Michelle Daley, Manager of Jamie Oil's Delivery Department, who also holds a part-time job as the Head Softball Coach for Fitchburg State College, and yes, is an All-American athlete.

Michelle grew up in Worcester, and graduated with honors from both Burncoat High, and from Assumption College. She has served many roles as a Jamie Oil employee. When she was hired in 1999, the company only had five employees, including truck drivers and servicemen, so she had to learn how to manage a growing company. Michelle's ability to learn things quickly served her well. In her first few years with the company, she helped out with the billing, customer service, dispatching, and sales. Her background in athletics makes her a natural team player, and her organizational skills are outstanding. Currently, Ms. Daley manages our oil delivery system, which combines organizing our automatic deliveries, dispatching nine oil truck drivers, and coordinating our purchases of fuel in a most volatile market.

As an athlete, Michelle is a member of the Burncoat High Hall of Fame, a former captain of both the Assumption College field hockey and softball teams, where she is scheduled for induction into their Hall of Fame in October. She was named Division II All-American as a catcher in softball. As Head Coach at Fitchburg State, Michelle currently holds the career wins record, as she leads the team to another promising season this spring. Congratulations Michelle on a job well done!
